Update: Volunteer Meeting Delayed
This last snowstorm has hit Frederick County quite hard, and as such we are going to POSTPONE the volunteer meeting until Thursday March 4, 2010. The time and location will remain the same. If you have any questions, please contact Lauren Corbett
The next best thing to participating in Francie's Family 5K is volunteering and being a part of a great community event! You’ll have fun, meet great people, be a part of something special in the neighborhood and enjoy the thrill of victory... all without having to break a sweat.
Note: If you plan on volunteering your time on Race Day, please do not plan on participating in the event as a Runner/Walker. It will be extremely difficult for you to do both.
You can volunteer as an individual or as a group. Just a few examples of Race-day Volunteer Duties:
A mandatory volunteer meeting will be held in February to answer questions, assign volunteers to specific tasks, and discuss the details of each assignment. We strongly encourage you to attend the meeting if you want to volunteer, as we will be reviewing important information and it will be the only time we will have everyone together to "train" for each task.

Location: Zion Lutheran Church on Main Street in Middletown
(Parking and entrance to the facility is located directly behind the building.)

All volunteers will receive an official Volunteer t-shirt, after-race refreshments and the thanks of every participant! Without the participation of people like you, this event would not be possible.
